  • Black Lives Matter DMV
    Black Lives Matter DC is a collective of organizers, activists, and artists in the DC, MD and VA tri-state area who work to combat anti-blackness and racialized oppression in all of its manifestations as experienced by Black people through healing, building community power within Black neighborhoods, and connecting Black folks who share the same desire for liberation.

  • Empower DC
    The mission of Empower DC is to enhance, improve and promote the self-advocacy of low and moderate income DC residents in order to bring about sustained improvements in their quality of life. We accomplish our mission through grassroots organizing and trainings, leadership development, and community education.Empower DC is a citywide, multi-issue, membership-based community organizing project.Empower DC builds campaigns to address key issues that directly-impact our membership.

  • Many Languages One Voice
    Many Languages One Voice (MLOV) fosters leadership and provides tools for immigrants in DC who do not speak English as their primary language, to increase meaningful inclusion and greater civic participation in solutions that impact their lives. We mobilize the community to prompt systemic change to meet the goal of language justice in the District.

    At ONE DC, our mission is to exercise political strength to create and preserve racial and economic equity in Shaw and the District. We seek to create a community in DC that is equitable for all. The people of ONE DC envision the nation's capital as a place where low income, poor, and immigrant communities are organized, educated, and trained to take action to create and preserve social and economic equity.

  • Stop Police Terror Project DC
    Stop Police Terror Project-DC is an organization in the Washington D.C. area committed to changing the system of racist, militarized policing in our region. We work to oppose police abuses and also to build community-led peacekeeping efforts to empower oppressed communities to deal with their own security concerns.
